In all its programmes CfD gives special priority to the most vulnerable sections of the communities it works with. This includes women who are deserted, victims of violence and widowed, orphan and destitute children, the aged and the disabled. CfD makes a special effort to include these groups in all its programmes and to ensure their participation in all processes. Adolescent girls, who are at risk in urban areas, also are high priority; CfD provides life skill education, programmes for personal growth and various kinds of personal and vocational counselling for them.
